The quick-thinking actions of a firefighter helped prevented two youths from causing criminal damage to a nearby house.
The White Watch firefighter was at Hadleigh fire station, in High Street, when he looked out of a window and saw the teenagers.
PC Kevin Hemsworth said: "The firefighter saw the two trying to break a window of a property adjacent to the station. He banged on the station window and shouted at the teenagers who then ran off."
One of the youths was wearing a black padded jacket and the other was wearing a white one.
