A teenage boy was tapped on the shoulder then told he would be stabbed if he resisted a robbery.
The 15-year-old was walking along London Road, Leigh, and was followed into Burnham Road.
After being tapped on the shoulder he was told: "Give me your mobile phone or I'll stab you."
The robber then took a Vodafone phone and £20 cash.
