The desperate daughters of a missing mum today appealed for her to get in touch.

Sandra Gant, 45, was last seen ten days ago.

Her children and police said they were becoming "increasingly concerned" for her welfare.

Her eldest daughter, Carrie Cheasley, said:" I can't see any reason why she should have gone.

"She has never been missing like this before."

Ms Gant was last seen at Clacton Hospital on Saturday, November 15. She left between 8pm and 9pm.

When her daughters visited her home in Wellesley Road, Clacton, they found tobacco pouches, cash and clothes untouched.

Ms Gant's daughters said she was wearing a black leather, thin, waist-cut coat with light-blue jeans, trainers and a blue scarf.

They described her as thin, 5ft 3in tall with wavy dark brown hair down to her shoulders.

They appealed to anyone who might have seen her to contact Clacton police on 01255 221312.
