Heavy rain could not prevent some good weights being recorded at Breakaway AC's match at Hockley.
Winner on the day was J Srivener with 49lb 2oz, while J Wyatt was runner-up with 42lb 9oz and T Nixon third (40lb).
Hockley Angling Club will be running Wednesday matches starting next week (December 3) until the end of February.
These matches will be walk-offs - the draw being at 9.00am and fishing 10am-3pm for silver fish only.
