EastEnders star Jessie Wallace admitted drink-driving when she appeared before Southend magistrates today.
Wallace, who lives in Wanstead, east London, plays the character Kat Slater in the BBC soap.
Prosecutors were outlining their case against Wallace, real name Karen Wallace, who was stopped by police in her Mercedes car in March.
She arrived at court with former policeman boyfriend Dave Morgan, 28, who this week resigned from his post at police HQ in Chelmsford.
He met the 33-year-old TV actress in March after escorting her from court where she was appearing on the same drink-drive charge.
He was under investigation over claims he had not worked enough hours.
He has increasingly been seen with the actress at showbiz parties and was recently refused a transfer to Chigwell - closer to the Wanstead home he shares with Wallace.
