Campaigners calling for traffic calming measures after a 14th Century cottage was hit by a stolen car have launched talks with councillors.
Residents in a row of buildings at the High Street end of Norsey Road, Billericay, have been lobbying for a one-way system outside their homes.
Their fears of a serious accident were realised when a stolen car crashed into a cottage built in 1380.
