Last season's leading City goalscorer Dale Watkins has joined rivals Grantham Town, initially on loan with a view to a permanent deal
It is a case of 'returning home' for the East Midlands-based striker, having played there earlier in his career
The much-travelled player, who was City's top scorer last season with 19 goals from 33 games, who includes Sheffield United, Grimsby Town, Rotherham United and Cheltenham Town amongst his former clubs, made his debut for the Lincolnshire side in their 1-1 draw at Tiverton Town on Saturday.
Grantham were able to afford Watkins' move once they had lost the experienced Darren Collins to Nuneaton Borough two weeks ago, after their FA Cup exit by Leyton Orient.
