Angry Georges Santos today pleaded his innocence after being sent-off in Ipswich Town's 0-0 draw at Millwall.

The centre-half was given his marching orders for two bookings in Saturday's Nationwide League Division One stalemate at The Den.

And, in blasting referee Iain Williamson, the Frenchman told the Evening Gazette: "It was the worst decision I've come across in my career.

"It was amazing and very hard to accept because I never touched the player for my second booking."
