Contractors have assured motorists the A12 roadworks at Witham will be completed on time.
The £10.3 million project to resurface 4km of the A12, at Witham, began in August and the Highways Agency have confirmed work will be finished, as promised, by the end of this month.
With only some line painting remaining the stretch of road should be open as usual from tomorrow morning providing bad weather does not hold work up.
Due to safety concerns a total of 17 speed cameras have been enforcing a 40mph speed limit.
