The seventh Colchester police Christmas concert went down a storm, raising lots of cash for good causes.
The concert was a joint effort between Colchester police and Colchester Council. It was a great way of saying a big thank you to all the people who have helped with Neighbourhood Watch throughout the year.
Along with Evening Gazette editor, Irene Kettle, the concert by the Essex Police Band was attended by a number of local dignitaries, including the High Sheriff of Essex David Boyle, Chief Constable David Stevens as well as MPs Bob Russell and Bernard Jenkin.
The Christmas Cracker Concert also featured choirs from the Philip Morant School and the Gilberd School, along with pupils from St Benedict's School, who helped greet the guests.
