A new consumer advice centre has opened in Southend, giving shoppers the low-down on goods before they part with their cash.
The centre draws on the expertise of trading standards, the Citizens Advice Bureau and the Tourist Office to give shoppers vital information and advice where disputes arise.
The Consumer Support Network is based at the Tourist Information Centre, Southend High Street and is open every Wednesday from 10am to 1pm.
