A major refurbishment at Basildon's mental health unit has been unveiled.

The South Essex Partnership NHS Trust has been busy giving the unit at Basildon Hospital a new look and various new facilities.
Basildon and East Thurrock MP Angela Smith had the honour of opening the unit.
She said: "I am extremely proud and grateful to the trust for what you do for my constituents."
The unit has seen the refurbishment of the reception area, which has been made more welcoming and secure.
A children's visiting area has been built and three wards, Westley, Grangewaters and Belhus, have been refurbished with new lighting, flooring and showers as well as some new furniture.
