A motorcyclist has died following a road crash in Maldon last night.
The 41-year-old man died after his silver Honda motorbike was involved in a collision with a black Fiat Punto and a silver MG sports car on the A414 Spital Road at about 7.15pm.
It is believed he came from the Maldon area.
The road was closed off to traffic for more than two hours but no-one else was hurt in the accident.
