Cap that! While John Kennedy joined team-mates Steve Ward and Chris Duffy in being honoured by England for their international selection against Belgium earlier in the year at Park Lane last night, he had three extra reasons to smile.

For the midfielder collected a trio of other National Game XI caps for appearances during last term to make his total haul four for a season in which he was named England non-league player of the year.
The cap presentation by FA representative Ron Kibble was prior to Gulls' home match with Bognor Regis which saw the Islanders again move seven points clear of the field at the top of the Ryman Premier Division with a 3-1 win.
