Teachers and pupils are to get the best Christmas present of all - a long-awaited new school.
Education chiefs says work on the new Two Village Primary School should begin in February, if everything goes to plan. The project is expected to take about 10 months to complete.
Staff have welcomed the news and are delighted progress is being made.
Children from Ramsey and Little Oakley have been waiting for years for a new school, after a series of delays.
They are currently working in different sites split between the two villages.
The new £2.2 million school would house 210 children under one roof in Mayes Lane, Ramsey.
