Gloucester Park regular Sid Hammond weighed in a tremendous 41lb 12oz carp haul to take a clear win at Sundays Gloucester Park Open.
Sid fished a peg at the Eastern end of the cockle bank where he landed six carp to a best of 12lb 2oz. His haul fell to feeder tactics and maggot baits.
Fellow lake regular Stan Howard took second place with a 24lb 8oz catch. Stan also fished the cockle bank where he used quivertip tactics to net his mainly carp haul.
Ray Lilley took third place at the match with 15lb 3oz. Ray fished a pole to include a decent crucian and a couple of small perch in his otherwise all roach catch. Fourth place went to Dave Hemmings with a 13lb 13oz roach haul, followed by Steve Marchant with 12lb 10oz 8dr, Del Smee with 12lb 2oz, and Ron Smith with 12lb.
