Girls' football is going from strength to strength in Britain and Assandun Vikings are mirroring that success.
The Ashingdon-based club was formed in 2002 and in just 18 months has attracted around 80 youngsters who play and train with the Vikings.
It has grown from two teams to four squads representing under-12, 13, 14 and 15 age groups who play in the Essex County Girls Football League.
Now Assandun are on the lookout for more coaches to help carry the club forward.
"We need coaches to help select teams and ensure the girls are prepared for matches," said chairman Tim Crook.
