Vandals have been on the rampage in Tendring.
In one incident, a digger at a school was driven into another, smashing the bucket of the second one.
The JCBs had been left at Clacton County High School during building work.
The culprits entered the site and started one of the diggers moving it, and then used its bucket to smash the other's.
