Canvey businesses are losing out because only one post office on the island can issue road tax discs, it has been claimed.
Queues stretch down The Point as motorists wait at the only centre where they can get car tax - but avoid the delay and head to the mainland.
Postmaster Amarit Singh, of Canvey Village Post Office in Long Road, has been campaigning for years for more post offices to be allowed to issue tax discs.
