Nursery owners are not holding out much hope that a selection of garden ornaments, including a concrete bulldog, will ever be found.
Missing - Sarah Mummery shows ornament similar to the ones that were stolen Picture: ANNA LUKALA
Thieves used barrows to steal the goods from the Mummery garden nursery in Kiln Road, Thundersley.
Boss Judy Mummery said tracks were left by the barrows in a field at the back of the centre.
She said: "I don't suppose we will get them back, they are probably in someone's garden by now.
"We followed the tracks from the nursery through the field but they stop when you get to Queensmere. We're unsure what was taken. We trust our customers and don't expect people to come in and steal things."
The theft happened on Tuesday night. Anyone with information should call police on 01268 756221.
