It was all change for the Bishop of Colchester when he jumped behind the tills at supermarket giant Asda.
The Rt Rev Christopher Morgan took a turn at the counter during a tour of north Colchester.
He met staff and shoppers at the store, before heading to the Bricklayers Arms for lunch.
Earlier, the bishop visited St Michael's Church in Myland for morning prayers with vicar Geoff Catchpole.
The tour is all part of the Bishop's efforts to meet his parishioners.
