Both Grays and Thurrock will continue their campaigns to finish runners-up in the Ryman League Premier Division behind champions elect Canvey by searching for points tomorrow.
While Mark Stimson's Grays, who visit his old club Canvey next Tuesday, face one of their longest trips of the season at Kettering, Thurrock home in on Bishop's Stortford.
Both will be approaching their matches in confident mood.
Grays enjoyed an excellent success at lowly St Albans on Tuesday night while, the previous evening, Colin McBride's Thurrock had pulled off a great Essex Senior Cup semi-final success at Roots Hall over a strong Southend United side.
