Southend United's caretaker chief Steve Tilson is urging his resurgent Shrimpers side to continue their impressive run of recent form at Bristol Rovers tomorrow afternoon.

And the Shrimpers boss reckons five more wins will secure safety for the Blues, who have lost just one of their last nine games and sit in 16th place.

Tilson is confident the Seasiders can secure another victory vital at the Memorial Ground.

"I know I seem to keep on saying it at the moment, but it's another very important game for us," said Tilson.

"They're level on points with us but we can definitely get a result there.

"It's not going to be easy though, I watched Bristol Rovers against Orient on Tuesday and they looked like a good team -- so I'm expecting another hard game."

But Tilson warned the Shrimpers must maintain their current level of form to avoid being dragged back down towards the drop zone.

"Another five victories should keep us up, but we need to keep going and keep working hard because you can get sucked back into trouble very quickly in this division," he said.

Blues welcome full back Jamie Stuart and striker Drewe Broughton back from suspension for Saturday's encounter, but centre back Mark Warren misses out with a one-match ban.
