An inmate who absconded from an open prison in Suffolk could be heading for Southend.
Paul Lovett, 25, from Southend, serving a sentence at Hollesley Bay for driving while disqualified, was discovered missing at 5.30pm on Monday.
He was due to appear for a meal break but when he failed to show the alarm was raised.
Police are advising members of the public not to approach him but call 999 immediately. He is white, 6ft tall, with blue eyes and brown hair.
When he went missing he was wearing a grey top, blue striped shirt, blue jeans, blue jacket and brown boots.
