A disability playscheme will be launched at Hockley Community Centre on Thursday.
A spokesman said it would give parents, carers and their children with disabilities a chance to meet staff and find out more about the playscheme, at the Westminster Drive centre.
Activities, from 10am to 3pm, will include a bouncy castle, arts and crafts, an easter egg hunt, cooking and face painting.
There will be an entertainer from 1pm.
Parents will need to stay and supervise their own children.
Essex County Council Social Care is setting up the scheme, in partnership with Rochford District Council, plus several parents and carers.
