A Canvey businessman is offering a £500 reward in a bid to catch two conmen who robbed a 94-year-old woman.
Tony Brittain decided to put up the reward after reading in the Echo how two con artists tricked their way into the pensioner's home in St Katherine's Court, Canvey, on Tuesday and stole her pension book.
