The Eastgate Centre in Basildon is putting on all sorts of entertainment from now until Easter Sunday outside the former Savacentre.
The activities will be supervised by a professional team and included face-painting for children yesterday, chick basket-weaving today and tomorrow there will be the chance to make bunny ears.
The Outback Steakhouse and fashion store Next are running a colouring competition near the customer service desk on the lower mall.
The two lucky winners will each receive a family meal for six at the Outback and vouchers to spend at Next.
The Outback is also holding a free prize draw for all competition entrants and will be giving away 150 kids meal vouchers.
Eastgate promotions manager Mike Horton said: "This will be one of the most active Easters ever in terms of family entertainment at Eastgate."
