Every point counts as Ipswich Town go into the first of six 'cup finals' tomorrow at Rotherham United.

That is the message from Blues goalkeeper Kelvin Davis as Town focus on finishing an inconsistent season on a high with a final run-in to the play-off zone.

Davis said: "At this stage of the season every point counts.

"If we had come away with a point on Sunday (Town lost 3-2 to West Brom) we would have probably been happy, given the circumstances, and it would have pushed us up the league.

"So we have got to take each game as a cup final and Rotherham are fighting for their lives at the bottom of Nationwide League Division One. They need the points to stay up.

"We need the points to boost our chances of finishing in a play-off spot."

The trip to Millmoor is the first of two games in three days for Ipswich over Easter, with Sunderland visiting Portman Road on Monday.
