Football mad fathers who fancy becoming the next England manager should take advantage of free coaching courses being run in Harold by Havering College and West Ham United.
The Learning Freeway, which aims to encourage adults to learn new skills, has teamed up with the football club to organise coaching skills courses beginning after the Easter break.
Learning Freeway coordinator Dawn Cooke says she hit upon the idea of football coaching after struggling to get men to sign up for the adult education courses.
"I've been trying to think of ways to get more men involved and it's not easy - so I hit on something to do with football," said the life-long Hammers fan.
"I got in touch with the local Football Association and they said they would find me a club - I thought it would be Romford Royals or someone - but when they said West Ham my jaw dropped."
Dawn is very pleased the college is able to offer these courses and hopes that parents, whoever they support, will take advantage of them.
