Check - Eileen Craig, Stella Woollcott, Karen East and Lisa Duggan inspect some of their kit Picture: ROB BROWNE
The trip to Nepal next February was the idea of Eileen Craig and Lisa Duggin, who travelled to Peru last year.
They persuaded colleagues Karen East, Stella Woollcott and Sue Packer that it was the chance of a lifetime.
Now they are so fired up to do the trip Karen has even quit smoking to make the most of her training.
Karen said: "They said it was such a life-changing experience and you cannot buy that - especially when it's for the hospice."
Anybody interested in going on the trip should contact Jo Chapple on 01268 272292.
