Colin Hill believes the chances of brother Garry replacing him as Heybridge Swifts boss are very slim.

Hill senior is bringing his short spell as Swifts boss to a close at the end of the season, but he does not believe Garry will return to Scraley Road.

Garry, who was a Heybridge manager in the 1990s, quit as Dagenham and Redbridge chief last week and has been linked with a number of Ryman League vacancies.

But Colin Hill said: "To be fair to Garry he is one of those guys who doesn't go back.

"I think it might be a while until he returns to the game.

"He's done a lot and worked hard to get where he has, and not wishing any disrespect to Heybridge I wonder if they have any appeal to him.

"However, my brother is a funny animal and when he does get a job in the game I don't think money will be the main thing on his mind."

Heybridge can improve their chances of luring a man with Garry Hill's credentials by making it into the new Conference South next season. This quest will be boosted by winning at St Albans City tomorrow.

But Swifts will be without goalkeeper James Pullen (suspended) while Andrew Fotiadis (thigh), John Pollard (knee), Bradley Thomas (ankle) and Shane Huke (leg) are doubtful.

Graham Roberts, meanwhile, will be looking to pick up his first home points as Braintreee Town manager tomorrow.

Bradley Quinton returns after suspension for Braintree, but Louis Evans starts a ban, while Ray Taylor (hand) and Ollie Blackwell (groin) are injured.
