A teenager who was injured in a crash at Danbury Common on Easter Sunday has died.
The 18-year-old, of Bicknacre, near Chelmsford, was airlifted to Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, for treatment, after the accident in Bicknacre Road at 2pm on Sunday.
The teenager had been a front seat passenger in a Rover car which hit a tree. Firefighters had to cut the roof off the car before the three injured passengers could be released.
The driver, a 19-year-old man from Danbury, was flown to Colchester General Hospital, where he is still being treated.
The other passenger, of Bicknacre, who is also believed to be in his teens, is being treated at Basildon Hospital. They both have serious injuries.
