The group, called Hermitage, are touring the country but made a special stop at St George's Church, Rushbottom Lane, Thundersley.
The event was hoped to raise some much-needed cash to help create the Legacy XS project at Richmond Park in Benfleet.
Building work for the project to include a skate park and BMX bike ramps has already started with the £130,000, cash that has been raised so far.
The project is still in need of extra funds if the centre, which will provide various activities for the youth of Castle Point, is to be completed by September.
