Laindon-based Elite Karate put in a five-star performance when the club contested a tournament in London.
Five club members competed at the Renshinkai Southern Academy Sixth Lambeth Junior Karate Interclub Tournament and came away with a quintet of medals.
Elite participated in both kata and jumite categories.
Sensei Steve Lacey said: "All our competitors put in good performances and have definitely put Elite Karate on the map."
The club has its main dojo at Markhams Chase Leisure Centre in Laindon, with lessons every day except Thursdays and Sundays.
