Port owners have addressed outstanding issues ahead of a public inquiry into major expansion plans.
Hutchison Ports UK has provided more information about its application to build a new container terminal at Bathside Bay, Harwich.
The material has been handed to the planning inspector, who asked for it following a pre-inquiry meeting earlier this year.
It highlights the cumulative impact of Bathside Bay alongside other port developments in the area.
Hutchison also explained why it chose Bathside Bay above other sites for a new terminal. The information will form part of a public inquiry, due to begin next week.
