Chris Duffy is the latest player to pledge his allegiance to Canvey Island Football Club as Gulls prepare for their entry into the Nationwide Conference.

Wing-back Duffy, who can play on the left or right, has been at Park Lane since 1999 and has this season played 46 games for the Islanders, scoring five goals.
He has been a key member of the team that has not only won the Ryman Premier title but is also through to the final of the FA Trophy, being played at Villa Park on May 23 with Hednesford Town the opponents.
During his spell with the club he has also gained his first international honours by being selected for the England National game XI last season.
