Billericay suffered a six-wicket defeat at Woodford Wells on Saturday despite a fine all round performance from Nathan Batson.

Having been put into bat, Batson top scored with a fine knock of 86 and was well assisted by Andy Bethell (45) and David Cole (33) as Billericay were bowled out for 214.

But the home-side had little trouble reaching their run target, as they hit the required total with six wickets to spare.

Following his heroics at the crease, Batson also impressed with the ball -- taking two wickets -- as did Danny Pryke.
