Residents concerned about how major road improvements in Benfleet will affect them will have their say next year.
A newly-published "timetable" chartering the proposed works on the Sadlers Farm roundabout, has revealed that while the £32m scheme will not start until 2009, and is not likely to be completed until 2011, the public will get to voice their opinions in less than a year.
A high level of support for the principle of grade separation between the A13 and A130 has already been uncovered by a study and in a recent survey 84 per cent of people supported the scheme.
However as the finer details become clear the multi-million pound improvements will once again be put before residents.
The results of this consultation will then feed into the eventual decision to be taken by the cabinet member for highways and transport.
