Germans came to Seevic College last week as part of an exchange scheme, their timing couldn't have been better.

Janice Taylor, college co-ordinator for the exhange, said: "It's happened at an ideal time because it means the Germans could help the English with preparation for their German-speaking exam."

The trip included visits to the London Eye, Downing Street and the Lyceum Theatre to see The Lion King, and day trips to Cambridge and Portsmouth.

The German students also accompanied the English students for a day at college.

Seevic students had visited Germany earlier in the year, spending a week in the country visited Cologne Cathedral, the river Rhine, and Aachen.
