Police seized nearly £250,000 worth of drugs from a house raid yesterday and warned other drug dealers their stashes would be next.
The raid took place at a house in Wharf Road, Grays, as part of an ongoing clampdown on drug dealing in the area.
PC Grant Welbourne, community policing team officer, said: "We recognise there is a long-standing problem of drug dealing in Thurrock and we are determined to rid our streets of this menace to society."
Seventy kilograms of cannabis and ten kilograms of cocaine were seized in the drugs haul.
A 37-year-old man and 20-year-old woman were arrested and are being questioned by detectives.
