Two men have been taken to hospital following a head-on crash in mid Essex.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision in Little Maplestead at about 11.10pm last night.
Drivers of both cars were trapped and had to be freed by the fire brigade.
A 33-year-old Dutch man suffered a fractured femur and fractured right arm. He was fitted with a neck collar and transported on a spinal board.
The second driver, a 56-year-old man, had a badly fractured ankle.
Both men were taken by ambulance to Broomfield Hospital
