Canvey Island have three players in the England National Game XI squad to play the Iraqi international side tomorrow night.

But one of them, star striker Lee Boylan, looks like missing out on his first cap after picking up an ankle injury in Sunday's FA Trophy final defeat by Hednesford Town.

The other two Gulls stars picked, midfielder John Kennedy and central defender Gavin Cowan, both seem likely to taste action in the match, being played at the home of Third Division Macclesfield Town.

And the Park Lane trio are also among those selected for the two-match tour of America next month.

Iraq are on a brief tour of England to celebrate their return to international football, and lost 2-0 to Trinidad at West Brom on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Canvey fans, as expected, face paying more next season as they prepare for their first-ever entry into the Nationwide Conference.

For the first time in a number of years season tickets will be available for the terraces in addition to seats in the West Stand.

Chief executive Keith Johnson said: "Prices have been increased to the average of other Conference teams and reflect the need for some contribution to offset against the huge extra costs that will be incurred playing in the Conference next season."

Adult terrace seasons will cost £210 (£150 concessions for senior citizens and students) while seating tickets will be £250 (£190). For under-16 juniors the cost is £75 terrace and £90 seating.

Priority will be given to season ticket holders on any all-ticket matches, home and away.
