Arena Essex Hammers were in fine from at the Purfleet Raceway last night, chalking up a 53-41 victory over visitors Oxford in their SkyBet Elite Speedway League clash.
Great news for the home outfit was that their 12-point margin of victory was enough to give them the bonus point over an Oxford side who had beaten them by nine points in the reverse fixture earlier this month.
Hero of the hour for Ronnie Russell's men was Mark Loram, who completed the proceedings with a 15-point haul.
