Runnymede's 10/12 years girls' relay team were in outstanding form at this year's Southern County Youth Championships at Crystal Palace.
The medley team, comprising Sarah Wright (back) Samantha Knight (breaststroke), Charlotte Davis (fly) and Verity Goodey (free) finished in an amazing seventh place in a time of 2.24.65.
All of the girls managed to produce personal best times in a 50m Pool. This was an amazing achievement for Runnymede who were one of the smallest clubs competing against some of the biggest and best clubs in the South of the country.
The girls also did extremely well in the freestyle relay, finishing in 13th place in a time of 2.09.01.
With a slight change to the team, Georgie Hunt swimming instead of Samantha Knight, they again managed to produce PB times.
