The land around Waterside Farm, Somnes Avenue, has been closed by Castle Pointy Council because of problems with off-road motorbikes.

Paula Holt, 46, of Beveland Road, Canvey, who has two horses, says riders are being forced to use roads.

Paula and other riders from Brick House Farm, Haven Road, are planning a protest to make the council listen to their pleas.

Canvey councillor Norman Bambridge said options were being investigated.
