Braintree Tennis Club's Amy Rumble is settling back into her normal routine after two of the most exciting days of her life.
Rumble was one of 16 children from around the country who made it through to the final stages of the Ariel Ace Tennis Ace talent search.
And at the event in Wimbledon Park she met and hit balls with Britain's number one tennis star Tim Henman and was runner-up in the competition.
Nine-year-old Rumble had booked her place at the event after impressing coaches earlier on in the month when she also got to meet legend John McEnroe.
Rumble said: "I was so excited when I met John McEnroe and he was so encouraging that I came away from that day thinking that it couldn't get any better.
"But then I got to play with Tim Henman and saw a lot of celebrities at the finals.
"He was made to play with old wooden rackets, tiny rackets and a racket with only a few strings it made me realise just how good he was."
She added: "Tim said you must have dreams, so I am going to work really hard and try and make my dreams come true."
