Three men were injured when their speedboat hit Southend Pier last night causing minor structural damage.
The men from Southend, all in their late thirties or early forties, suffered leg, head and arm injuries after crashing into the pier at 40mph.
They have been reported under Port of London Authority bylaws on suspicion of being in charge of a vessel while under the influence of alcohol.
