Pupils aged just three and four at St Barnabas have painted a sunflower for a competition being judged at Fair Havens hospice on Friday afternoon.
The contest will be part of Tea At Three, a national charity tea party involving all of the UK's hospices on that day.
Ruth Whiting, manager of the pre-school, in Church Road, is looking forward to the big event. She said: "Our design for the poster is quite unusual. It's just nice that the youngest in our society are helping some of those who can be among the oldest."
