Halstead & DMCC will take on its second meeting of its 2004 Moto-Cross season at Little Loveney Hall, Wakes Colne on Sunday, the Maxxis British MX Championship 2004, Round Four.
Topping the list of entries in MX 1 (Open Class), New Zealand's Josh Coppins, heads the series standing after three of the eight rounds, off the pace by 43 points of the leader Japan's Yoshi Atsuta with Estonia's Tanel Leok 56 points away from Coppins.
Leading the UK challenge will be James Noble, Mark Hucklebridge, David Campbell, Mark Jones and Justin Morris Best placed international rider is Andrew McFarlane (Australia) who sits in third place in the points of the MX2 125 class.
Current champion, Scotsman Stephen Sword with Tom Church, take up the front two points places with 161 points and 143 points respectively.
Very much in form Wayne Smith could be a challenge to the two Brits in points table Carl Nunn, from Bury St Edmunds, will have a large following.
Another local rider, Richard Fitch, should, like Nunn, have plenty of support Facilities at Wakes Colne include flush toilets, all round circuit viewing and all types of refreshments.
