A pet owner was devastated after her cat was left fighting for its life after being shot.
Angry - Sandra Allen with a picture of her shot cat Picture: ROBIN WOOSEY
Sandra Allen has agreed to more than £1,400 in vet treatment in a battle to save the life of Magic, her precious chocolate Burmese.
Mrs Allen, from Central Avenue, Hadleigh, discovered eight-year-old Magic had been shot with an airgun on Wednesday evening.
The vet spent hours operating on the animal in a bid to save it, but despite the surgery it continued to bleed from its chest yesterday afternoon and it is feared it might die.
Mrs Allen said: "How can anyone get enjoyment from hurting animals."
